Joanie Houston

President/CFO

My journey began early in life, rooted in a passion for serving others. As a child, I had the privilege of joining my Grandfather, Pastor Wallace Tribble, in bringing church services to senior communities. These formative experiences instilled in me a deep commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others.

Throughout my young adulthood, I held various leadership positions, but I always felt that something was missing. My true joy came from giving my time and attention to those in need. In 2007, I took my first step into caregiving after assisting a loved one through open-heart surgery. This experience led me to a local facility where I was promoted to a Life Enrichment role, a time in my career I cherish dearly. I was honored to be recognized as the Director of the Year for my region, a title I wore with pride.

As nine years passed, I found myself at a crossroads. While I had opportunities in business development, I felt a profound sense of loneliness. It was during this time that I became acutely aware of a gap in our community’s care for seniors. Inspired by a desire to help, I founded Forever Young In Home Care. My mission is clear: to help seniors maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their homes.

Adayah Perez

Alternate Administrator

Hi, I’m Adayah Perez, Alternate Administrator for Forever Young In Home Care. My passion for caregiving began at a young age when I volunteered alongside my mom while she worked as an Activity Director. Being around residents and seeing the impact of meaningful care.

I began working in Assisted living and memory care, where i gained hands on experience and developed a deeper understanding of the importance of patience, compassion, and dignity in caregiving.

I believe everyone deserves to feel safe, valued, and cared for in the place they call home. Being part of this field isn’t just a career for me – Its something i genuinely care about. I take pride in helping families find peace of mind, knowing their loved ones are in compassionate and capable hands. I’m dedicated to supporting both our clients and caregivers, making sure our services truly reflect the level of care and respect every individual deserves.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and creating beautiful moments – Values that I carry into the care we provide every day.

Amy Hobbs

Care Coordinator

I’ve been in senior care for 20 years, starting in the early 2000’s in a memory care facility. That shaped my passion for helping others and showed me how meaningful this work truly is.

I love what i do – it makes me happy knowing i can make a difference in someone’s life. I enjoy helping clients feel comfortable and always strive to bring a smile on their face. To me, good care means treating every client like family and making sure they feel safe and supported.

When I’m not working, i cherish time with my family and friends and enjoy moments that bring us together.

Ladessa Hendrix

Human Resources

I’ve been around caregiving for as long as I can remember. My Oma was a private pay caregiver, and I grew up going with her to clients homes. That experience is what shaped my heart for this field and led me to continue working in-home care.

I’m compassionate, dependable and always willing to go the extra mile. One of the things i enjoy most is learning from our clients – their stories their wisdom, and the life experiences they share. Its something I truly value.

To me, providing great care is about making sure everyone feels supported, respected and truly cared for.

In my free time, I like being with family and getting out for some shopping.
